I'm not sure how it is now...but i know 22 years ago when my parents were stationed in japan they required that all animals be quaranteaned for 3 months befor you could live with them...they felt this would just ruin an animal, so they didn't take any...look up the pet policy...i think i may have seen it on about.com
Katie- Mommy to Kylee 10-30-05 (loving big sister, Ms. independent, intelligent, princess) and Auriana 09-17-08 (miracle baby with down syndrome, heart defects, hearing impairment, digestive problems, tube fed since birth, but determined to succeed, strong, loving, happy)

Ask me about Congenital Heart Defects... 1 in 100, it could be your child...

Ask me about Down Syndrome... more common than you think...

Wife to a Disabled Army Veteran... been there, done that, moving on

I would use the USDA, they regulate the rules and it would be better to do what they say.

We here usually give a microchip (if the pet doesnt have one) and then it needs two active rabies after the implantation of the microchip. Then after that you get a FAVN and then thats when your quartine starts and I believe Japan is 120 days (sorry we get them confused here sometimes LOL plus its 7am LOL).
Are you scrappy enough for me
