So I think my dog might still have worms. My question is have any of you tried at home treatments (stuff you can get from like PetCo) and have they worked? The reason I ask is the vet on base is always booked and I dont really want to make him wait too long if there is something I can do for him here and now. TIA

Normally if my dog has worms and I use a de-wormer, I notmally treat her again a week or two later, but book her into the vet as well, just to get it checked out. Good luck

If your dog has been seen within a year at that facility, then you should be able to take a sample in and they should run it and give you meds without an an appointment.

I would go to another vet (thats what we tell people when we are booked) because you need a good dewormer like drontal. Most of our clients have two vets.
Are you scrappy enough for me

Also if you have two or more dogs they all need to be treated for worms.
