I like them. They are easy to take care of, a bag of food and litter lasts a long time. They are very playful, they do a war dance when you play with them and hop around or wrestle with each other. My corona likes to steal Dh's boot insole and hide it under the couch Its kinda like a dog/cat mix just in a smaller body ...i also plan on getting them xmas clothes and bedding.

Mine hasn't bite lexie yet. they just sniff her. It all depends on the animal like anything. If its not nippy towards you it will more than likely not be nippy towards childern. I got mine from animal control. Hes a sweetie. My only advice is play with and see how they are beforehand.

I would prefer them over a hamster just because they are bigger, you can walk them lol dress them and actually play with them. they are more interactive if thats what you are going for. If you cant give them that much attention get them a mate they will be happy with a friend Hope i helped

I had one in about 1992. I owned him for a week! He bit me and my 4 year old and we didn't even do anything to him. Ferret bites hurt like a mother! In the pet store he didn't bite, it was once he got to our home and the bites were unprovoked. I took him back to the store and they took him back.

A friend of mine had one that NEVER bit and was such a sweet one. I think I got a grumpy one

edited because it was in 92 that I owned him
