cosby can chew through just about any toy. he loves stuffed toys but we don't get them often because he chews through them and pulls fuzz out within like 10 minutes and that's if he's gotten distracted. we bought a tuff tugger at target today and he chewed a hole in it in like 7 minutes. he likes squeaky toys though he has a pup tread tire and he likes that, kinda lol. he loves his kong esp. if something is in it . he has a little cheapo squicky hamburger that he hasn't destroyed yet and he loves.

so i guess does anyone have some good fairly indestructable toys?

We got Brownie a rubber bone. It's the really hard rubber and she's had it for almost a month, chews on it constantly, and so far she hasn't done a thing to it. Dh didn't think it would hold up to her because it's rubber, but it's pretty hard. It costs $7 at walmart.

was it a nylabone? cosby doesn't like that, we've got one but we bought it at petsmart. i'll check that out thanks

when ouor dog was a pup-he always chewed too & the only thing he never chewed through was a rope-not a regular rope but a rope toy bought at a pet store etc-Good luck Jill

yeah he loves ropes but he has like 7 already lol, we are always looking for something new to try. have any of y'all tried the firehouse toys? they are made from real fire hoses

Brownie wasn't a big fan of hers either, but then Dh and her played fetch with it and now she loves it. I was going to rub some of her wet food on it to see if that would help her get used to it.

Tha Woosnort destroys all his toys except his special plush ball like Cosby. Hubby had a "soccer ball graveyard" in a basket that had all of Woo's conquests in it. (he only like soccer balls, but they're everything from plush to real)

I have some indestructible (well they last a while, anyway) rope toys for Bronwynn (shepherd), and she chews the heck out of them. She hasn't destroyed any rubber squeaky toys yet, either. She has a hamburger and some random ugly monster thing I got at Dollar Tree.

My Lab loves her ropes....she also chews anything plastic up in minutes....we sometimes give her used Gatorade bottles, they are thicker plastic and las a little bit, we throw them away before she has them in pieces.... She also loves stuffed animals... and gets the stuffing out quickly...but I have found that after she gets the stuffing out, she'll still play with the stuffingless animal...... In fact her favorite toy is the stuffed animal I bought her the day I got her, it was bigger than she was, but now a year and a half later it has very little stuffing left, and parts of it are hanging on by a thread and its really really worn.....but she still plays with it and just carries it around like a kid would a doll....and she cuddles up and sleeps with it......so adorable!
