TMI but I will tell ya what we used to tell our clients at the clinic I worked at.... Roundworm (long and stringy like spaghetti) Tapeworm (short like rice) Roundworm you can take the doggy in and get some treatment (we used strongid) usually takes a few doeses to clear Tapeworm we gave an injection for (droncit) Ohh and if it is tapeworm get some flea control. Tapeworm is from ingesting infected fleas. If you use frontline etc and nip that in the butt then you wont have to worry about that as much. |

You'll notice an increase of the worms in the stool when you give the med. Thats just them flushing out. And make sure NO kisses on the lips etc. Humans CAN get roundworm from their animals. My brother got it from his cat licking his lips

And then you have to go to the Dr and get a pill for treatment.
