    Flea and Tick : Cats

    Advertisements
We are going on vacation this summer and the kennel we are boarding out cat at asked for them to have a Flea and Tick prevention take place. Our cat has never really been outside; but, they take the dogs outside for walks and it is a farm.

What would you recommend for just a week? Our cat just turned 15.

    Thanks!

I like Revolution because it also protects agains heartworm. It is expensive though, but some vets will sell just one dose. My vet will also sell just one dose of Frontline. Since you will only be gone for a week and the protection lasts longer than that, if you are worried about a reaction, I would treat your cat at least a week before you go on vacation.
