    visiting dog

    Advertisements
a dog showed up on thursday. He was clean, trimmed nails, brushed teeth and a healthy weight. And obviously a house dog he was scratching to get in.
I have posted on facebook, went to every neighbors house i can think of, posted signs, called the humane society and police dispatch. We even went to a few vets offices. nothing.

We keep getting leads but they dont pan out.

Why is it so hard finding his owner?

I'm so glad he's safe and with you but it just makes me so sad to think about him being separated from his people. I would be a mess if my dog was missing.

I assume the vet scanned him for a microchip? It sounds like you're doing everything you can do. Hopefully word will make it to his owners and he'll get back home. Thanks for being patient and taking care of him!

Here is dog! We have decided to just call him dog until we find his owner. We cannot keep him, so it is pointless to get attached. Even though he is sweet

What a sweetheart! I'd broaden your search if you haven't already. Beagles can get lost easily when they get on a scent and can't find their way home. Have you tried taking him for a long walk and see where he leads you?

When I walk him he has tried to pull me through a corn field.
