    Dog in Pain

    Advertisements
Does anyone know what is safe to give my dog for pain? He hurt one of his legs this weekend and I can't get him into the vet until tomorrow morning (I emailed her a video of him limping and she said it was ok to wait and that I didnt need to rush to the emergency vet). I think he was just running too fast and twisted the wrong way or pulled something. Can I give him anything OTC like tylenol or aspirin?

NO! Everything I have ever heard is do not give Tylenol to dogs. acetaminophen is toxic to dogs.

I have given baby asprin to my dogs, I can't remember the dosage. Call your vet, see what they recommend, it is probably the best bet, they already know your dog is hurt so they may be able to write a percription or offer some OTC advice.
