Having my first litter of kittens

    Advertisements
I'm so excited, I get my kitty back Friday after sending her off to be bred & we should have kittens due mid July

This is going to be my first litter! (For those that don't know, I show a specific breed in the CFA as a hobby and am just starting to get into breeding with the assistance of several mentors who I've known over the past few years since the breeders of this breed are very close knit & selective about who they trust with their cats)

This past show season, my girl did really well and was ranked 11th in the nation for her breed. So I'm really excited about this upcoming litter.

Little baby kittens! Hopefully all goes well, I'm on a feline health list and am reading up a ton & honestly I feel like a first time mom all over again.

I loved it when our cat had kittens. They are so sweet.

DH: Thank you. ME: For what, babe? DH: For being you.

Do you have a list of people waiting for a kitten from this breeding?

Yeah placing the kittens won't be a problem. There are only four breeders (including myself) of this breed in all of the western states.

All of us have waiting lists. We advise most people that waiting for a kitten can take up to a year out in this area
