If you're too proud to follow rivers, how are you ever gonna find the sea?

Four of our six (my "grand-kitty" is with us while DD is home for Christmas break) are indoor/outdoor. We let them out on demand even through this weather because they prefer to do their business outside and they all come right back to the door w/in 20 minutes of going outside right now to ask to come back in. I had to laugh this afternoon because Salem was just about beside himself trying to get outside when I went out to check the progress of filling the horse trough.....he literally went out the door, off the porch, and about four feet into the pasture, looked around like "f this" and bee-lined back to the porch where sat waiting VERY impatiently for me to hurry up and go let him back in -- total outside time less than 1 minute.

That's awesome! I usually let her out but it was only 3 degrees and when she goes out she stays out until the morning. She's just so tiny! And full grown. It worries me.

I had a similar problem yesterday. My kittie is basically an indoor cat who likes to take exercise walks with me outside, either on a lease or walking beside me. I cured it by opening the door. She felt that below zero air and must have thought to hell with this, because she changed her mind.

She's so whiney. I always say I should have called her whiney ass. LOL. Her meow is like a plea every time!

How cute!! She has such a pretty face. My little rugrat has been doing the same thing. But I won't let him out in this cold snap either!
