I've been robbed! Robbed I tell you! (plus a Moose Update)

So Moose got neutered today... and all I could think of (after I found out the procedure went well, of course) was how adorable he was going to look wearing the Cone of Shame!

I get home from work today, and I find out-- no cone!

The patient is doing well. Feeling a little woozy...

He and our other dog danny are up on the couch. Moose is pretty out of it and wants to snuggle. Danny and is right up there with him. Not exactly 'nursing him back to health' but keeping close.

We lucked out so much with them. They are getting along so well. And Moose marked in the house 2x is first & 2nd day respectively... but now he seems to be over it. He's learned how to sit with hand+verbal commands, and he is starting to figure out how to walk on a leash, and to go by the door when he needs to go outside.

It's incredible to believe that only a week ago, he had never been in a house before.

Aww, bubs. I had out perma-dane neutered in October and it was sad to watch even though he was totally fine! I hope your guy gets back to normal asap!

OH PS, we bought a special cone for perma-dane but he ended up not needing it. He didn't lick at all, which was super great of him

Apparently they did the surgery so all the stitches are internal. So no removal and no cone unless he actually started gnawing at himself.

he is just so cute. I'd be a bit disappointed if I had a dog and he didn't get the cone I'm glad that they're getting along so well and everything is going smoothly!
