    Inverted sneezing

My 9 year old Golden Retriever has been doing this a lot. Not excessive but maybe 2 - 3 times a day. Is this something I should worry about? He goes for his yearly check in April and I had planned on addressing it then, but I'm wondering if I should take him in before then?

It's usually not a big deal. It's usually caused by postnasal drip in their throat.

When my golden would so that, our vet suggested tilting his head up or encouraging him to swallow.

Thanks for the reply. I will try that. I sometimes rub his nose/muzzle.

My Chihuahua does it. It freaks me out really. Makes me think she's having a asthma attack. Vet said it is normal and could be allergies.

Both my pups do it occasionally. It has been worse here in Turkey but I was warned they might have allergies here.

It started right around the time I moved so I wonder if there's any plants in my new yard that gives him allergies
