    Cats and Christmas Trees?

    Advertisements
So I have a kitten. She's adorable and I love her but she's not very smart. We're putting up our fake tree and she's trying to eat the lightbulbs. Now this is CLEARLY bad for several reasons but I'm not sure how to get her to knock it off? Ideas?

Hang them where she can't get them maybe? And use a spray bottle filled with water whenever she gets near it.

We adopted a kitten a couple months ago and just decided to not put any ornaments on the bottom third of the tree. You may have to not put lights on the bottom part.

    Also the squirt bottle helps.

That might work except the lights are built in or something so we can't rearrange them. Hopefully shooing her off for a few days will keep her from climbing/eating the tree. Stupid cat. None of the other cats have tried to eat the damn tree lol.
