When you are working with your dog on tricks, do you stand or are you eye level?

random and probably dumb, I dunno if theres a "correct" way to do it lol

I typically stand and am "calm and assertive" (or I try )

Of course, I was sitting when I taught Lucy to shake...I was just messing around and not seriously thinking she would catch on that fast...but I'll be damned if she wasn't shaking after practicing it like 2-3 times with no treats
Put on your big girl panties and deal with it like a boss.

oh geez, it's been 8 years since I taught Lexi a trick. Think I was eye level with her when I taught them to her...especially with "roll over". I practically body slammed her and rolled her over. She hasn't done that one since she was a puppy...probably 'cause I "attacked" her to make her do it.

It depends on what trick I was trying to get them to do. Usually I was involved in some way like helping them roll over or lie down etc so I wouldn't be at eye level so much as lower than standing.

Eye level with a stern happy voice and he usually tilts his head like I'm asking for him to teleport instead of just give me his paw.

    I've always been standing.
