    Thumb Down fleas!

    Advertisements
My baby fluffs have fleas . They've been both treats with Advantage, the entire house vacuumed and sprayed down flea spray, and we are in the process of washing every fabric item they've come in contact with recently.
Not how I wanted to spend my Friday night.

Is there anything else we should be doing? I've never had fleas before...

We had fleas in our old house, they were there before we moved in. We bug bombed the house when we were cleaning it to move in. Then we used backing soda and borax and put that on all the carpet and furniture, left it for a while and vacuumed it up. Vacuum every day because if the eggs are not killed by the other stuff you are doing you want to stimulate them to hatch with the vacuum so you can suck them right up. That seemed to be enough for us, we didn't have a flea problem after that.

Are you living in on post/base housing? There was a flea problem in every house on our street when we lived on Ft Leavenworth. When we called, housing had someone come and spray.
