    Now that's a salad!

While DD is away visiting her dad DS has been the hired hand around here. Specifically, he's been doing all the horse chores. It has been so much fun to watch him interact with them - when he's on his own with them he is really quite taken with them (just has no interest in riding)....and they love him (probably because he doesn't have any desire to ride, lol, he is content to feed and pet them).
Tonight he got a bug up his butt to make the girls a special treat, so they had' salad' with their dinner. He picked half a muck tub of fresh, green grass and topped it with apples, carrots and a touch of grain. End result, two VERY happy horses!

I love horses so much! How many do you have and what kind? I had a palomino paint, he was so gorgeous. Unfortunately I had to sell him because I couldn't afford him anymore.
