    KONG

    Advertisements
I got Dixie a kong toy finally. It came with some sample treats to stick in it. She likes the treats, she just doesn't get that she has to chew on it to make them fall out, she's just licking the end She looks like an ant eater

What else do you guys put in them? Is there something easier for them to get out?

I know you can freeze them... but I feel like she wouldn't like that and I'd just end up with a melted mess >.<

ETA: well, I guess some how licking worked, lol, she got them all out.

Finn likes peanut butter in his. I need to get him a new one though, he has the puppy size and I'm afraid hell choke on it now. He loves it though and it's a great way to make him sit the hell still for a few minutes.

I used peanut butter mixed with her kibble. She loves that frozen, takes her awhile and it keeps her busy. I make one up for when she stays with my parents in case they have to go somewhere, they can know she's busy.

Peanut butter and kibble, got it!

I put some loose pieces of kibble in and left the room. She finished and ran in looking for me wagging her tail. Now she's looking around like give me more! lol.

I'll have to just give her a little bite of peanut butter first and see what happens... She has issues with people food sometimes.

My mom found some sort of treat that is in a spray cheese can. I think it was peanut butter flavored. Our dog freaking LOVED that stuff! If we have spray cheese at the house now, he still gets all excited.

I saw that at the store.

    And that's hysterical.

If I've had peanut butter in it, I wash it, just kibble, and I'll wash it after a few times.

I put their kibble for the morning and evening into kong type toys. It keeps them interested in their food and slows them down so that they don't eat too quickly. They also love training treats, peanut butter and Cheerios.

I put marshmallows in mine. My dogs love it. I shove as many of the big ones as I can in there and push them a tight as it will go. Keeps them entertained for quite awhile
Put on your big girl panties and deal with it like a boss.
