Rehome Fail Meet the New Addition

    Advertisements
So Lucy is staying. She is actually only 12 1/2 weeks old now (my client who I got her from was told she was 6 weeks on 12/30 but she was younger according to the vet). She was taken even earlier than expected and was removed from her mommy when she was probably only 3-4 weeks old no wonder she kneads my blankets when she gets tired. So Im a rehome failure, but honestly she has a heart shaped brown spot and a tear drop on the other side. Her issues with being "mouthy" has really made progress, now the issue is "no jump" she knows sit and has been doing very well on potty training. Shes a smart cookie-she LOVES Rawhides, and toilet paper, and my undies I really think she is a boxer/hound mix because she "Roo's" and her feet are web like which the vet said he see's in hunting breeds. Anyway she gets a long great with Miss Addie Mae by other dog who is horrifically timid (our male really can be a jerk to her and has stopped really playing with her so this has caused her to come out of her shell. My mom fears it will all end as soon as Lucy is full grown but I dont think this would happen).

I always giggle when people say they are gonna foster. I always say things like 'so....you actually just got a dog'. I mean, it makes sense. How could you give up that munchkin face??? Congrats on the 'new' pup! I have had many friends with fosters-turned-family and each one is super happy with the decision.
