Found a lump on our dog

TMI but he has a hard small round lump where his little nuts used to be. I was brushing him and noticed that he flinched when I brushed the inside of his leg so I started checking him for a tick and came across this lump. Any clues? I'll be calling the vet in the am.

please be sure to have it checked cause my best friends dog had a similar sounding lump & it required surgery as it was cancerous-Good luck sweety

My dog (childhood dog) got a lump in her breasts and by the time it was caught it was too far gone. and it too was cancer.

I know dogs get lumps as they age, some are just fatting and others are hard so it's always best to get them checked. Just last year we had to put my dog Baloo to sleep, he had lung cancer
