I've never had to clip a dog's nails until we got Brownie. The only reason we had to start cutting them was because they kept breaking off and it was bothering her.

that's cool. i wanna learn how to do that. i've seen it done, but i'm scared to do that.

i clip buddy's nails cause he's inside a lot and he's such a good little boy for me. i can just craddle him and do it.

as far as clipping the dogs nails at work....oye! i've worked there only 4 days and we've had to muzzel several of them, and a couple one girls had to lay down on top of while i clipped the nails!

We've got to clip Miss Sophie's before we leave today. She doesn't get out on the pavement enough to wear them down. We've go to walk her more often!!!

Yes I clip Apollo's. Boxers can get long, thick nails... Even when I do clip them his are longer and thick!

I hardly ever have to do the back ones though, he wears those down pretty good on the pavement.

I have always clipped our dogs nails, unless they are at the vet or the groomers, then I have them do it. We started when they were puppies, it was a bit of a wrestling match at first, but now Chloe she'll lay on her back on my lap while I do it, Tink and Woody lay on the floor and just let me do it.
