    Pooping outside of the litter box

    What the heck is wrong with this feline ?

    Sassy just pooped outside the litter box .. WAYY outside of it .. ( like on the other side of the room ) She has never had this problem before and the litter box was clean too ..

    Does anyone know what may be causing this ... ??

    i agree. at least she isnt like saint! he takes a crap right in front of the front door. so when we come home, the door goes right through it and smears it everywhere

    I was told that if you have been around cats for more than a year before you got preg. You have more than likely already been exposed to it. Plus, with Nick gone, what is she supposed to do. I cleaned the litter box all the time when I was preg with the kids.

    Hmmm I didnt hear about the year thing....Just make sure you wear gloves and a mask or something....Better safe than sorry!

    we had a cat that always used her box and was great and then she started doing that when I got pregnant. She never did get any better about it and ended having to be an outside cat.

    I wear gloves up to my elbows and two masks ..plus my doctor also told me what Donna was told .. I've been around cats my entire life but I do protect myself ....

    I thought it may be the move but she has moved several times since we've had her and has never had this problem .. Plus she was doing fine with it until just a few days ago ..
