Cat puke stains. - Pet Pad

Well, how do you get rid of them? I have steam cleaned the carpet and I've used resolve on it twice now. It lightened it, but this time the puke was pretty much liquid, and brightly colored. I don't get why they dye cat food, everyone knows cats puke.

Oh, I have had that issue. The only thing I found that works like a charm is Folex. You can get it at almost any grocery store. If you look it up online, it will give you a list of places that carry it, I think. It's about $5 or so for a bottle. Spray the area well, and then rub it with a towel. Voila!

I don't know about stains but this carpet cleaner is AMAZING for cleaning right after it happens. It might save you from stains next time. You just spray it on and walk away. You don't even have to vacuum usually. Occasionally, I've had to do it more than once or vacuum but it's rare.

I will have to try Folex. Could I use Oxy clean or is that just for laundry?

I'm going to kick a cat's butt if they do this again. Why can't they puke on the damn LINOLEUM??????? *******s.

I spray Zout on the stain. Let it sit for 5 mins, then scrub it with a brush or old toothbrush. It should help to remove the stain entirely.

You can use oxyclean for other things.

Emmie occasionally has lime green liquid puke. It stains bad if not cleaned right. We use natures miracle. We never steam clean until AFTER the stain is out because the heat will set the stain in.

Honestly....the dog gets them cleaner than anything I've ever tried.

Woolite Pet works great for us.

oooh I have the BEST stuff!!! It works so well it cleans the carpet too!!!

Its called get serious and it has NEVER failed me. I've used it on other things too other than just cat puke

The Woolite Pod has worked pretty good for me so far with getting dog puke out of carpets.
