Why??? - Pet Pad

Why is it that whenever one of our animals *needs* something, it is "expensive"? If not actually really expensive, then at least relatively speaking?

I just put in an order for some stuff for my horse. He's dealing with a hoof abscess, and while he is healing, it's a little slow going. I ordered some supplies to help him out a little. I also ordered a couple extras. But between the stuff he "needed" and the stuff that I "wanted", of course the "needs" were more expensive!

Does this happen to anyone else?

My pets are part of my family. If they need something, I am happy to get it for them!

I totally get that, and it's the same for me (otherwise I would not have just spent the money I did). Just it would be nice if some of the "needs" cost less than the "wants". Then it'd be sooo much easier to "just say no" to those "wants" that I really don't "need".

lol well I'm sure a horses needs cost a lot more than my dog.

But I agree that some of their things can be pretty expensive.

Yes same here. My dogs will happily play with a $4 toy until it is in a million pieces, but every time someone gets a freaking booboo it costs untold amounts of money. I completely understand.

Yeah all of Jack Jack's needs cost way more then the extra fun stuff.

ugh I know what you mean...whenever I take our dog to the vet for a checkup its ALWAYS something wrong that costs hundreds of dollars...I'm looking into pet insurance cause that heafer is breaking me lol
