My Dogs are Family.(hence why I just dropped hecka alot of money on him). But at the same time I consider my Horse Livestock not a pet. He makes me Money and I love him but consider him livestock

All three are our kids, they are treated accordingly.
They go on car rides, get birthday parties, have clothes (only during the winter. summer they would be to hot), get cuddle time, get treats when they are good, go on walks, get kisses, have beds...

because I don't have children, they take the place of them.
I would like to think that when I have kids they will still be an important part of my family, but obviously I can't say for sure.

They're my kids. They get the same time, attention, effort, nurturing as I would give a kid. No matter if I do have human children or not, my pets will remain my kids. I don't look at their life as meaning less because they're not human. It's a hard concept for me to understand when people say that they put one kind of life over another. I know I'm in the minority, but thats still how I feel.

They are family. I will never abandon them unless I absolutely HAD to, like if the baby has a severe allergy. But it would kill me. I mean, I don't let them eat off my plate but Mari gets cuddle time every day as she loves it, and Vengeance comes up to me at his leisure for petting. They get rewarded with treats and punished with a squirt to their fur of water. Or corporal cuddling.
