does anyone on here have one?? i have one and i love him, but i wanted to know if anyone else has one and how long it took you to potty train them!! hehe my lil bubby is a stinker at potty trainng

i have one, and it took the better part of a year to potty train her. they're notorious for this, just stay patient

I have one and she was already potty trained
I'd just suggest taking her out often and praising her when she goes potty. When you SEE her messing in the house say "NO!!" Then take her immediately outside.

I don't own a Yorkie but groomed two today. And please, buy a COMB for your little ones. A brush will only get a certain amount of their hair tangle free and make it look all nice and fluffy. But a comb (metal, please) will detangle all the little puppy knots in the coat. Especially if the little one is going through a coat change.

And make sure to comb through the top-knot and beard/cheeks in between haircuts as well as anywhere that is constantly rubbed (neckline where a collar is, armpits and tummy area when wearing a harness or cute little sweater).

Please, I don't want to to have to shave down another matted up Yorkie. They look like little rats when they're naked.

I have a Yorkie, Elphie, and she is such a sweetie. I love her to pieces, but she is a terror to potty train. She is about 10 months and she is doing much better, but we still find puddles around the house. We also have a Maltese, Sophie, and she rarely has accidents, the only reason why she goes in the house is because she gets so excited when daddy gets home from work. I guess it is just the Yorkie nature to be stubborn.

i have 2 yorkies. minnie and daisy. minnie was pretty easy to potty train, but she still makes mistakes sometimes, and daisey, well we're still working with her. there almost 10 months old. we got them when they where about 5 months old but i love them to death

I am guilty of that right now. But I won't let my Yorkie to be shaved. Maybe trimmed down a little bit.

I have one sweet little baby Yorkie. It took me little time to potty train him. We have a fenced backyard and a pet gate in the kitchen. In between the two that helped me a lot.
