    Mad WTH!

    Advertisements
I took Sophie to the dog park today to enjoy some fun in the sun. I was hanging out with some friends who had joined me and I glance over at my Soph who was getting all excited around this woman. As I look over, I hear her say "Do you want some food?" and she pulls off a piece of bread from a sandwich she was eating and feeds it to my dog!! Right as I see her doing this, I try to get out "Please dont feed my--" but it was too late!

I've worked so hard on making sure Sophie doesn't get any human food and it really bothered me that someone would just go ahead and feed things to her w/o checking with me first.

I have nothing against people who feed their dog human food, but I just choose not to do it cause I'd rather not have her begging all the time.

My blood runs scarlet and gray.

That would piss me off... a person never knows if the dog has allergy, or if there is some other problem.

Wow, she has no right to feed your dog. I would be mad! How does she just assume you'd be fine with it?? I never feed my dog human food either so I can only imagine how you felt.

Thank you! I'm glad you guys dont see me as for being angry at this! I was really tempted to go up to her and be like, "I understand your good intentions, but it's really not your place to feed other people's dogs" but I decided to bite my tongue and just grumble under my breath.

I would be mad too. i have my dog trained really well not to beg for food and stuff like that when we're eating and then for someone to do that!!!! GRRRRRRR i would have had a hard time biting my tongue as well. you never do anything to another person's dog without asking. totally rude! (in my opinion)

I totally agree, my dogs don't get human food either and treats only when they have earned them. I always ask before giving someone's pet a treat...she should of asked.

People are harder to train than dogs.
