    Worst F*cking SMELL EVER!!!!!

    Advertisements
So.....last night...yes oh yes....the dog had a little battle with a skunk......holy crap it is the worst thing I have ever smelled in my life......Gave Duke a bath in the proscribed hydrogen peroxide/soap/baking soda and he still smells....today...it is to the groomer......I can't go through another night of not being able to sleep because I am gagging every five seconds... Poor Duke....

ummm just a heads up...it is virtually impossible to get rid of the skunk smell!!! and you might want to pay the extra for a deep coat conditioner/remoisterizer. that concoction sounds horribly drying. poor pup. good luck!!!

Don't they sell stuff at the pet stores specifically to get rid of skunk smell?

yes, but it is not the most effective. i was a groomer before i had Lo, and let me tell you. we tried EVERYTHING! we had this special shampoo, it was VERY expensive, and it still didn't get rid of all of the smell. it def helps! but yeah. skunks are evil!!!

Ugh, close up skunk is the worst... It's like some kind of oil that coats the inside of your throat, and you can smell it when you EXHALE..
