    Fire Belly Toads.

    Advertisements
My hubby bought me 4 Fire Belly Toads this weekend. Your probably laughing but I LOVE FROGS. I have frog stuffed animals, apron, my bathroom is done in frogs. I just love them.. Anybody else have any? I could use some tips on them. Yeah I have looked them up but any other experiences would be great.

    THANKS

I've never heard of fire belly toads so I looked them up and YIKES!!!

"While not the most toxic of amphibians, regular handling is not recommended (avoid if there are cuts on your hands) and your hands should always be washed thoroughly immediately after touching the frog (or cleaning the tank for that matter). It is not recommended to house these toads with other species due to potential toxicity problems, though. Regular cleaning and water changes will help keep the toxins from building up in the tank. "

Yeah I saw that. We are NOT touching them. We have a scooper to use when we clean the tank. These WILL NOT BE TOUCHED.
