An animal that survived kidney failure?

If you have did you find that they needed some extra attention after?

Its been over two years since my dog was sick and I am going to be starting him on an immune boosting herbal rememdy.

I've had some customers with dogs/cats w/ impaired kidney function. It's weird, some opt for the super low protein prescription diet, and others opt for the highest protein diet we offer. I don't know enough about it off hand, but I know the research is out there.

my old landlord/roommate's cat had kidney problems. i don't know that they labeled it failure tho. had he finished her course of meds, she probably woulda made it. as it was, he did a half assed job of her treatment, she was suffering & i told him to take her & have her put down. he asked if he could just let her die & i told him "hell no". dumbass.

Oh i know about it since we treated and got him over it at my work.

He had the worse numbers that either vets at my work have ever seen.

I was just wondering what peoples animals were like when they had animals that recovered from it.
