I am shocked she lost that much weight!

Before when Stormy was on her old food she was visibly overweight. Since we switched her to what she is on now she has gotten to what looks like the perfect size for her. The last time we weighed her she was 75 lbs. I took her to Petsmart this afternoon and she was 65 lbs. I am shocked she lost 10 lbs but she is definitely at a much healthier weight for her now

Wow! How long did it take for her to lose that much? We're on a slow uphill battle to get the dog to shed a few pounds. Just curious.

She probably lost it within a month. She food she is on isn't specifically a weight control food, but it's formula is good for weight control as well as dogs with allergies, so it was perfect for her. We feed her the amount it says to feed and we split it up into 2 daily feedings.

Wow, that's incredible. Can I ask what kind of food it is? Prescription or store bought? Our vet has talked about switching us to a different food to help with the weight loss but it's prescription and crazy expensive. We're supplementing her dry food right now with green beans but it doesn't seem to be helping much.

Thats great!! I read some where once that an animal being one pound over weight is like a human being 30 pounds over weight.

I have no idea how overweight she actually was. The vet had just metioned when she was around 6 months that she was a little chubby, but that was it. I could tell by looking at her she needed to lose some though

That's awesome. That food seems pretty good too. Way to go Stormy
