Do you give your pups/dogs wet food mixed with dry? If so, what's the best kind to get? Or what do you prefer? When/what time do you usually give it to them?

Diesel gets dry food, he eats way too slow for me to feed him wet. I can't handle the smell for longer than 10 min

I tried when I was potty training her, since it was the only thing she would gobble up and I needed to control when she ate so I could get her on a schedule, but it gave her HORRIBLE gas, so that ended quickly.

Nope, just dry. Always heard wet was bad. BUT I do mix in those little mixable pouches in every now and then.

nope. I find most dogs won't want to eat dry food if they have wet food. We used to mix it and the dogs would literally eat the wet food off the dry food and spit out the kernel and when the wet food was gone they would look at us like uhh we are hungry.

    I will miss you SOS...

We feed a mixture of Merrick dry kibble, and Merrick canned food in different flavors. I use only about a quarter to a third of a can mixed in with their dry food for their dinner meal. It gets my German Shepherd to eat more, and has put about 15 lbs on him since we started doing this over a year ago. He was underweight, and just refused to eat as much as he should.

We mix a little bit of wet food (1/3-1/4 of a can) in with Otis' dry food at dinner (he gets it dry at breakfast because I don't want him to become picky). He only likes Mighty Dog (which happens to be the smelliest of them all).

Awaiting the arrival of baby Andrew
