cd, a choc lab, german shorthair pointer mix, who was used as bait, probably for pit bulls. his face just says "love me". he's 6, a little closer to lu's age than i wanted, but i just wanna snuggle him to death.

& Jaeger, who they list as a pointer, but i suspect he has lab in him too. he's got a pretty blocky head & stout snout for a pointer.

    (roadtrip saturday boxermomma?)

**update** i swear, i had no idea that adopting another dog would be such a rollercoaster of emotions. boxermomma must make an appearance at a work function saturday, so i am left to my own devices. i am too much of a pass novice to try it in my rwd mustang with even a hint of snow possible....soooooooooo, i am going to rent a jeep since i can get it for $64 for the day. the rental car place assured me it will be 4wd. i am waiting to hear back from the rescue ~830 pm that it's ok that i arrive there at 10 (they open at 9) & that they will hold him for me til then. i do not want a repeat of last weekend. i told them my experience w/ driving 2 hours for nothing. i do not want to rent a car & drive 3 hours for nothing this weekend. once i get the ok, i will rent the jeep.

Oh that poor doggy. They both look sweet. The first one has those sad eyes you just love though.

the problem here is, one of them still has to be available on saturday when i am able to go meet them. i've missed out on 4 so far. not getting my hopes up again after my experience last sunday.

cd looks like a bear to me. that'd be his nickname. i'd have a (love) bug & a (teddy) bear.

RC how will you choose? They both look like they need love! Don't you just wish you could save them all?
Good luck with your decision. Your a great person!

I would choose the first one based off of pictures, but meeting them always makes up your mind for you.

you are right about the second one, there is def. some lab in him

It almost made me cry too. I just wanna kiss his boo boos.

His foster has a grooming shop so he goes to work with her and is a total gentleman with all the customers (canine and human). So that just makes me picture him standing there getting the crap kicked out him by someone's pits. Very very sad.

Soooo, we'll see how this attempt goes. Petsparkle agreed to be my reference. I figured shed be the best one since she left her dog with me for 7 weeks while she was in england.
