    Frontline Plus (Dogs)

    Advertisements
Diesel got all his shots and his microchips today (poor guy didn't like getting the chip at all ) and then the vet gave me the Frontline Plus for fleas, etc. She told me to put it directly on the skin between the shoulder blades and all in one spot.

Well, he would not hold still so I got most of it in the same spot and I tried to get it just on his skin but now he has a giant (softball size) oily spot on his back from it. So my question is did I screw it up since it obviously got on his fur? Or is it still going to work?

I've gotten it on my dog's fur before and it still worked. It wasn't as much as you described though so

Even if you put it right on the skin it soaks into the fur, so I'm sure it's fine. I prefer K9 Advantix because Frontline didn't work well for us personally, but that's just my personal thing

My only thought is to make sure that he cant wrap his head and lick it. It will be fine if its on the fur u just dont want him to lick it (at least thats what Ive been told).... sounds like your good though - no stress

You're good. I got it on Meesha's fur too. It's gross when you pet them but it'll go away eventually
