    Screwy Leash Prices

    Advertisements
I will be honest I purchased only one leash, and it was 3 years ago..We use english style slip leads (in agility, etc) so I dont have a 6ft one and a collar...

Why are they so damn expensive???

Idk, it's crazy. I've had to buy new ones repeatedly for my dog because she destroys them. Once was my fault, but the others she's just too much for them. I have the chain ones with the leather like handle and they end up breaking.

i've never really paid attention to how much they cost. i get a discount at work, so i don't look closely. buddy has a four foot least and gwen has like, a 2 foot or less even, traffic lease. she has no way to pull ahead of me--the least is that short.

If you save one dog you won't change the world--but surely the world will change for that one dog.

i've had lu's since i got her...but i may be needing a second one soon.

i got lu's collar (& a spare) at dollar tree for a buck. they were overstock from walmart or target. total score there. the spare will go to latte, if she joins our fam.

did u see my link to latte jennygirl? it's in my petpad thread.

I always wonder the same thing! I just bought a really cute red leather collar for Scarlet... and the other day it snapped in half! Boy was I glad I spent $20 on that!

a week from today if she's still available & my landlords ok it. i will talk to them this weekend, later today if they are home. cross your fingers.

since she was just spayed on thursday, i'm hoping she's a lil ouchie & sticks to the back of her kennel if there's anyone in this week looking for a pup. i remember learning in college that studies show dogs who are more shy are less likely to be adopted. i kinda feel bad for thinking that way, but the more i look at her pic, the more i want her & the more i think she'd be a good fit. boxermomma is gonna be my voice of reason.
