    Tore out a stitch

    Advertisements
That's what my cat did. She tore on of her three stitches out. She managed to get the cone off and ripped it out.
So the question is, do I need to take her back to get one stitch redone?

no, but watch it carefully for excess bleeding or puss. at the slightest sign of infection go in immediately! my dog did that it wound up being ok and thats what the vet said to do.

Thank you! It looked a little pussy I think, but everytime I try to look she scratches the hell out of me. Hopefully my vet is open tomorrow.

    YES! I would.
My yorkie ripped her stitches out to long ago and the VET said to bring her in that they needed to be re-done in case of infection. They stapled her and did it for no cost.

And I'd put her cone back on.
