    How long have you had the pupster and where did you get him from? Only asking because unless it was from a BYB, chances are there is a "right of first refusal" attached to him (common with rescues, shelters and mainstream breeders, though I doubt he was mainstream since he is mixed breed)

    We got him from my SIL who adopted him after seeing a cardboard sign advertising puppies on the side of the highway...You know us country folk! No fancy clauses or anything when adopting...
