    What to do..

    Advertisements
I get toys for my dog, and every time she'll shred them, then EAT it. Chew, swallow.
What can I do to stop this? I used to have good sturdy toys, but they just straight up disappeared from my back porch.
Do I need to go buy new sturdy toys or is there something to do to prevent her from swallowing them?
Oh, and I'll see her getting ready to swallow it, I go over to her and she swallows it as quickly as possible.

Our dog has this one plastic toy he kept trying to eat. We had to throw it away.

Is your dog just maybe bored and destructive?

I think she is. She loves chewing everything in sight. I had a kong ball that I loved b/c she couldn't destroy it. I think my neighbor stole it.

And I've gotten these other toys that are "sturdy" but not with her. She shreds them every which way.

Yeah, we had to get the extra tough Kong.

Try taking her on long walks everyday. It'll curb her energy and be healthy for both of you.

I think that's what I'm going to end up doing. I take her on walks around the neighborhood for about 30 min, but she's still crazy after that Guess I'll be doing hour walks. Which I need as much as she does.
    Thanks for your input!

I think I have a trip to Petco in order this week. And that ball looks good, but I'd have to take the rope off b/c that's her favorite afternoon snack.
