    Our cats aren't declawed. In Germany it is actually illegal to do it

    I said no but we have been considering it. I've heard it really hurts them and I love my kitty to much to hurt him like that. I've bought soft claws and they seem to be doing a good job.

    Both my cats aren't declawed. I don't think I would ever do it. I clip them though. My cats don't claw anything. But maybe if I had young children I would declaw.
