    Sad Help from dog people!!

    Advertisements
I've had dog's ALL my life.... but never have I had one that demolished half a bag of Salt & Vinegar potato chips before.... I know you can give a dog Apple Cider Vinegar to help with it's ph, but I can't locate anything about 'white vinegar'. Anything any one might have on it would be great! I'm hoping it won't make him sick or require a trip to the vet, but if someone can find an article or knows something about it, if I need to, of course I'll take him, but I'm a little worried so any suggestions would be great!!! THANK YOU!!!

I'd say he's fine. Just keep an eye on him. If anything changes, take him in.

I swear my dog could eat ANYTHING and be fine.

For all the table scraps my boyfriend feeds him and he NEVER gets sick, not once, I'm hoping that means he's got an iron stomach like yours and he'll be fine..... just made me nervous, due to the amount. My mom is home tomorrow so she'll check on him and if he gets sick, she'll be able to take him in and call me at work....

Thanks for your input!! It'll help me sleep tonight.....

I say just wait it out, if it doesn't sit well in his tummy, he'll puke. Just keep an eye on him

Sorry I didn't get back with you OP.

You probably know by now that he's FINE. I just hope he doesn't have diarrhea.

for all practical purposes vinegar is vinegar. it's not like he chugged a gallon. i think he should be just fine. if you notice anything abnormal from him, then call your vet.

Well, he seems to be perfectly fine.... nothing odd today, no potty problems, no puking. I just made sure he had lots of water in case he was dehydrated from the salt..... but apparently he has a cast iron stomach. Phew! Thanks to everyone for your comments! Y'all were right!
