Anyone know of any good places to look for cheap/free puppies?

Animal shelters will be your best bet. They won't be 'free' most likely, but the fee will be nominal. Plus they will have their shots as well as being spayed/neutered.
Never do anything halfway unless you want to be half happy.

Is this a dream? If it is, please don't wake me from this high. I'd become comfortably numb
until you opened up my eyes to what it's like when everything is right...I can't believe you found me ♥

Most shelters will have a list of adoptable animals online, so you can see if they have puppies... I always see a few puppies every time I go look.. I am a frequent flyer.. haha.. I have an obsession. If I could adopt them all, I would.

Animal shelter, pound humane society pretty much all alike. All crowded with to many dogs.

agreed with everyone else. usually they already come spayed/neutered and vaccinated. you can adopt for like $100

Also OP and I am not lecturing but I wanted to add that dogs are very expensive. The food, toys, shots, the possibility of them being sick. The list goes on and on of the cost for a new pup.

It was NOT fun taking care of a puppy when I had a newborn/infant to take care of.

I'd suggest the pound too! NO MORE puppy mills for me after having watched Oprah...

I personally look for ads for people getting rid of their dogs so that they don't take them to the pound and burden them with more to care for.
