    grrr...

    This is a vent/advice.
My 3 month old puppy was doing great! She was training so well, no pee on the floor. I was so happy.
Well we started to leave her alone a bit longer only for 2 or 3 hours, (she needs to get used to it). Well now she is jumping on me, chewing on things, and has peed twice!

How do I get her to stop. I reward her when she is good, and yell when bad.
I've never had a dog, so is she just being a puppy or is she rebelling?

I've never had a puppy...but alot of people from around here (south carolina)...say to rub their nose it in. I don't think i could do that-but thats all the advice I have! I'm sorry!

    Nose rubbing is not good.

Are you crating her? Crating is good.

Honestly when I leave Mia alone during the day she is going to have to go. I mean I leave her for 6-9 hours so I leave a peepee pad down and somedays she still pees on the floor. She is 5 months old. She is great when we are here but she is still a puppy and I think they need to get use to being alone. When we use to leave she would cry and bark and now she just sleeps. You cant really yell at them after the fact (peeing) because they dont associate the pee from hours ago with you yelling. Best way is to catch them in the act which is near impossible when you are gone.
I dont think this helped but Let me offer you moral support and let you know it should get better with time. They just need to adjust. Oh and the chewing.... they are starting to teeth so they may need some chew toys left out for them.
PM if you want to chat some more

we don't rub her nose in it.
We use a crate when we go out, or at night. But only for a few hours at a time. We don't use it to punish her, we want her to feel safe in it.
She has toys, we walk her, play with her, but when we don't give her tons of attention she gets mad and pee's or chews.

That is exactly why I never see myself with pets.

    Good luck though!
