I can't wait to see her full grown! I think she is absolutely gorgeous. I know some didn't agree with me going to a breeder to specifically get a silver lab, but I don't regret it for a second. She is an amazingly smart dog, well behaved and just gorgeous

Her breeder has a litter of 5 right now (Same Sire different Dam) that are 6 weeks old. I'm shocked no one has reserved/bought any of them yet. His dogs are amazing.

The benefit to going to a breeder in your case though is that the breeder had blood lines available to see. You can trust that the dogs are quality dogs and not overbred or treated badly. You got lucky with the breeder you found. As long as the females are given plenty of time between litters then I approve of private breeding! I wanted a papered lab when we got here, but they are just WAY too expensive here. I wouldn't trade my girls for anything!!!

Since I got her from a breeder in CO I couldn't see them in person but he has pictures and the pedigrees for all his dogs on his site. He doesn't breed each female more than once a year. I talked to people who have gotten puppies from him and his vets before I bought her. He was GREAT to work with. I took all the steps I needed to, to ensure he was a GOOD breeder before hand. She was a little pricey though lol. It's nice to have a HEALTHY dog after what happened with Miley

I love doggies especially Labs because theyre good pets. Im glad you got a good healthy dog. DH wants a dog but i'm thinking hell no for now. out of all the dogs youve had which breed would you say is best with kids?
