Well, you're not supposed to go on Mirena unless you have already had a child.

    Mirena and Breast Growth

I am 23 years old, and i got Mirena about 14 months ago, and I have noticed in the past 3 months or so, my boobs have gotten Enormous! the cup size on all of my bras are too small. and it's not because of weight gain, because I've lost ten pounds since September--and normally when i lose weight, my boobs get tiny. i'm not complaining, i love the size of them now, but they are so swollen and sore all the time (like 3 weeks straight out of every month) that i'd rather just have them back to normal. i even have to wear a bra to bed every night (which i hate!) because they are too sore to be un-supported. and i have to stop people from giving me strong hugs because my chest is so tender.

Since I got mirena so long ago, i am not sure if the hormones would even be causing this now. . . but it's always been in the back of my mind as a possibility. but really, i would think that my body would be used to the hormones by now. I am NOT pregnant, and am expecting my period soon (though in the past year it has been very irregular and very light since i got mirena--a blessing, really!).

Does anyone else have this problem, or know of anyone who does? Should i go to the doctor??
