Out of the Darkness Walk

Where: Fairfax, VA on Burke Lake Park

When: October 11, 2008

What we are: Out of the Darkness Community Walk is to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Many lives are lost everyday to this silent epidemic and now is the time to help spread awareness and prevention. You can help my family and others who have been touched by suicide by either donating, just joining the walk with me, or just by sending well wishes to any who partcipate in the walk.

If there is someone that you want to add to the memory wall that I have started to build on the site please feel free to let me know.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 32,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP's mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.

how do i add a person , i had a friend commit suicide in march :-( i wish i could do the walking thing
