Nope, hubby was on the McCain but would kill for orders for the Blue Ridge, it doesn't go out nearly as much as the others because it's the main comm ship!

DH is ready for stateside orders... but has a while to wait... They have been out since the end of May and will be out for a while longer. Seems like they are out about 6-8 months of the year depending on which year!

Aren't they due for dry dock here pretty soon? They had it in what 2004? I remember because my best friend's hubby was on it and they had like 9 months of dry dock, haha! |

Eh, when hubby was on it (he was with the det that worked on the helicopters) he gained 1 1/2 years of sea time in the 3 year assignment. Even though they didn't go out for 6 monthers, they were out a lot!
