Some Hawaii ???
I'm planning our itinerary, thanks to Steph is almost set up
I was wondering if I get to Hanauma Bay around 9ish how long would be a normal time to spend there? I want to make sure that we'll be ready for the Luaua that after noon around 3:45 to be ready. How long would it take us to go from Hanauma Bay back to Waikiki? Should we drive there or should we take the bus? Also, I want to get some of the tickets from ITT but I don't really want to wait till I get to the island to buy them, is there anyway I could buy this from the mainland at their prices ahead of time? I remember visiting a mall there, it has a Sears and I remember taking like a train I think but I don't remember the name of that mall, any idea? Thank you ladies

I'm pretty sure that you can call ITT and book the luau, purchase the tickets and everything, over the phone and then either pick them up when you get here or you might even be able to pick them up at the luau. I'm not sure how they do it now, but I think you used to be able to get them at the luau. Just ask when you call. And the mall that you are talking about is the Pearl Ridge mall... it's not too far from base. Only about 10 minutes or so.
I hope that helps ya out a little bit!

It won't take you very long to get from the Bay to Waikiki...If you get there at 9 you will have PLENTY of time to snorkel and relax before you have to get back. I'm not sure about tickets online through ITT (sorry!)
Pearlridge Mall (in Pearl City and has a Uptown and Dowtown sections) and Ala Moana (which is in Waikiki and HUGE) both have Sears and bus transpertation to and from ![]() Can't wait to hopefully have a group get together when you get out here!

Ok Pearl Ridge. I wanted to make sure that wasn't the Ala Moana cause that means I've never been to the Ala Moana.

Just a few ideas... for the Arizona, get there early. They book up fast for the rides out to the actual memorial. The Missouri is HUGE so plan for that. There is sooo much to see! Keep in mind with the swap meet, that it is outside and when it get close to closing... they sometimes close early. I've had that happen to me before! lol If you are planning on getting things to bring back, the swap meet and the international market are both good places. Bargain with them... you can sometimes get them to go down. I LOVE the international market place!!!
Also... if you would like to go up another lookout, Tantalus is a good one! It's beautiful up there and not a whole lot of people. A great place to pack a picnic and go up to watch sunset!!!

I agree with Wordensgirl....when it comes to the Arizona you HAVE to get there very early to get tickets.
What are the dates when you are coming again?????

Do you all want to have dinner that sat I'm getting there or the friday, I thought Wed could be good too for us but it might be better for a weekend for everyone? I made reservations to the Oceanarium Rest on Sat for the two of us but we could call and include more people if that's a good place for everyone.
