I put our name for the Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki but they were sold out so I was decided to go with the Hilton but we would've been paying a lot more and they sent me an email today saying our reservation went through!!! yayyy! We will be saving over $120/night if we stay in this one
Now those of you who have stay at this Hale Koa tell me all about it cause we will be on our way!!!!

When I moved to HI I stayed for 2 weeks at the Hale Koa, I really liked it, the room view we had was awesome, make sure you take a blanket with you so you can go to the beach and watch the spectacular sunset, also the Hilton Hawaiian Village is right next to it so you can just walk there and enjoy the amenities, also the Hale Koa has a little luau by the beach, you can look it up online at the Hale Koa web page, that's all I can think of, Congrats !!!

I was just there about two weeks ago and the view from my room was fantastic. I had the beach in front of me and Diamond Head in the distance. I need to upload all our pictures.
The actual room needs updating but the staff was friendly, room service was cheap, and you're within walking distance of a lot of fun stuff. If you're renting a car, reserve it prior to getting there because we rented ours the same day and personally I think we got ripped off but we took the car anyway. The beach was great but there were jellyfish warnings so I didn't dare go into the water, knowing my luck I would have been stung. The beach side bar was great! The Exchange was on the bottom level and the Coffee Cart in the main lobby. Overall, the place was amazing; like I said the room definately need updating but for the price I really didn't mind.

Thanks for all the info ladies!!!! I can use all those tips!
We are going in just over a month. J has never been there but I have, I didn't really do much of the touristic side though and that was some years ago. J didn't know where we were going but I had to tell him tonight cause I was wayyy too excited!!!!! I played a game with him. I took one of the bags full of stuffs that I already bought for the trip and I told him with everything I pull out of the bag he would have to guess where we are going. So he said cruise, Puerto Rico, Dominican Rep., Aruba and then I pulled an old lei I have and a head pieace I have and I started doing the hula dance he did figured it out then
