Germany & Car Insurence
Okay so my DB is deploying very soon and he's been in Germany. He has a new car and he has to pay for full coverage insurence. Even though he wont be driving it for at least 12 months he has to pay for insurence. His insurence is 4,400 a year!!!! Thats INSANE! are there any better companies or anything he can do because he's deploying? Im back in Iowa so theres not much I know or can do about it because hes over there. so

I think he might have that already, its high because he missed a credit card payment ONCE. But Ill tell him, I just wish there was something to like hold insurence off because he'll be in Iraq for over a year! Hes been so worried and stressed about his payments

Huhmm..good question. The best bet is to talk someone and explain the situation. I should assume that USAA will be able to help with the lowering of the insurance if he is deploying and putting the car into storage.

Point blank, having a car in Germany is very expensive, We were going to use USAA but found that going through our German bank was alot cheaper.

Tell him to call his company and let them know he will be deploying and wont be using the car at all, they will lower his costs.
