Souda Bay??? HELP! - OCONUS (Over Seas)

Okay, so me and DH are trying to decide on where to go for our vacation. He pretty much nixed Italy...too pricey from what we saw.

Anyway! So, now it is either GREECE or GERMANY!!!!

I would like to stay at Souda Bay in Greece

If we picked Germany we would stay at the Military resort at Edelweiss.

Any suggestions???? Anyone go on vacation to either?????

I haven't been to edelweiss yet(we are going when DH comes home for RandR because it's free then), but i hear that it is really really nice.

"we" (me) decided on Edelweiss an hour ago. I talked to some of the guys at work - some have kids and some don't - both said Edelweiss was the best!

I saw that about R&R, but DH fell a little short of the 270 days mark.

No worries, I don't care. I e-mailed our reservations for the Deluxe Cabin for 7 days!!!! They have a CDC and youth activities so we can be rid of the kiddos a couple of timed there. They also have the Munich Zoo!!!! Here is the website if any others are interested!!! (psst...12 hour drive from RAFL)

dh and i are going to edleweiss next month for a small marriage retreat. i've heard its really nice, im excited
