Depends on where you go. What do you mean different than us? When we lived in Italy they drove cars and ate just like us LOL. They spoke Italian though.

Would you be moving as a military family, or as civilians? That will probably greatly alter your experience. All in all, it will be a great life experience and I'm jealous!
P.S. Just a heads up, but nix the CAPS lock. It's like yelling in internet-speak.

![]() And I've never been to Europe, but I know Italian culture is quite different from the U.S. in the way of food and pace of life. But your best bet is to talk to the ladies who are currently there or have lived there before. I know Tori (my.hero's.mrs.) just moved to Italy this summer to be with her husband, so she may have a better perspective on this.

I lived in England for 8 years, and spent most of my summers in italy, both are great places if you want Europe.
![]() England is better if you want a close to home feel. (just they don't have such good fast food! lol) Also weather gets pretty cold. Italy's good if you want the holiday feel, it's warm, they have weird ice cream nams, everyone's friendly and sucks at driving.
